Meet Dr. Easton

Born in Ypsilanti while his father finished his dental training in orthodontics at the University of Michigan, Dr. Easton’s family moved back to his parents’ home town of Port Huron when he was six years old.

After graduating from Port Huron Northern in 2004, Dr. Easton attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. Upon graduation from U of M, Dr. Easton attended Wayne State University and obtained a Master of Science in basic medical sciences.

Coming from a dental family, dentistry was always something Dr. Easton had considered as a career. After completing his studies at Wayne State, he applied to and was accepted at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he would graduate with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2016.

He spent a year working around metro Detroit before deciding that he wanted to return to his childhood home and own his own practice. He started working as an associate at Bolla, Cotter, and Associates in 2017 before purchasing half the practice and, along with his new partner, Dr. Cotter, launching Cotter & Easton General Dentistry.

Dr. Easton is a member of his local dental group, the Thumb District Dental Society, as well as active with the Michigan Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

When he’s not working, Dr. Easton enjoys taking advantage of the many outdoor activities available in the Bluewater area; being able to get out on Lake Huron when the weather permits was one of the reasons Dr. Easton returned to the Bluewater area. His other passions include golfing and working out.

As a practicing dentist, Dr. Easton believes nothing is more important than doing what is best for the patient, both in the short term and long term. He strives every day to provide the best possible care to his patients.
